created by committees of people who have gone to
industrial design schools and are usually good at
designing mattresses that have visual appeal. They
are forced to use the cheapest materials in order to
maximize profits.
Therefore they cannot design with the end users best
interests in mind. Upper management salaries and share
holders come first. The result is smoke and mirrors,
or products that look good on the outside, but are
less than mediocre on the inside and will not keep
their new bed feel very long. This is a win-win
situation for the BNB's because it recycles the
consumers like you back into the market in a
relatively short time.
Eco-Cloud mattresses are designed by a father and son
team of mattress professionals with over 25 years of
combined experience. We have sold thousands of
mattresses and have listened carefully to our
customer's needs and problems.
We know what's wrong with ordinary mattresses and we
have the prescription to cure them. It’s a simple

We have five styles of
mattresses that vary according to their respective components. In each of them
you can choose between soft, medium, firm and extra firm. If you prefer a firmer
mattress with springs consider the Enlightenment or Vintage. If you prefer a
softer more luxurious feel with springs the Clarity is your best bet. Whichever
style you choose it will provide you with an extremely comfortable sleep as none
of these mattresses have a hard nonconforming feel nor do any have a squishy
disappear into it feel. The latex we use has an inherent springiness and resilient
quality that is supportive, long lasting and incredibly comfortable. The only
question remaining is which one will be best for you…
The Tranquility
Less is more. This mattress evokes the feeling of a quiet summer's
night by a moonlit pond. It consists of a six inch 100% natural Dunlop process
latex core covered on its top, bottom and sides with an Anton Cramer certified
organic cotton knit cover quilted to 1.7 ounces per square foot of organic wool
fiber. It is our simplest most zen-like design that will lull you to sleep in
a state of peaceful equilibrium.
The Clarity
Some like it plush. My daughter Marlee would describe it as "yummy".
You will nestle into three inches of 100% natural Talalay process latex and
experience the support of our six inch tall pocket coil spring system below
gently pushing back and filling in the small of your back. The springs ride
on a one inch cushion of firm 100% natural Dunlop process latex. This extra
inch of latex stabilizes the spring system by acting as a buffer and shock
absorber to prolong the life of your organic mattress. The cover of the Clarity
may be unzipped and the top layer of latex can be replaced if you require a
change of firmness. For those who enjoy more firmness down below with a soft
top, we now offer a fifth version of the Clarity called the "Plush/Firm".
The Enlightenment
This one is for those who prefer a firmer support system with
a denser more earthy feel than the Clarity. If the Clarity was a soufflé, then the
Enlightenment would be a quiche. Both have the 1" latex base and the 6" pocket
coil spring system, but the Enlightenment adds a second 2.5" micro coil
spring system with an additional 1300 coils in a queen size bringing the total
number of springs to 2184 . Because the micro coils are smaller in diameter
they are able to more precisely adjust to your body shape. The micro coil is
topped with 2" of 100% natural Dunlop process latex to enhance and compliment
the substantial feel of the dual support system.
The Vintage
Harkens back to the days when a mattress was like a sandwich with
the springs in the middle and the same padding top and bottom so that you can
flip it if you wish. The difference between this mattress and the one you may
fondly remember is that the Vintage is organic and uses better quality materials
than were ever available in the good old days.
The Vintage has a 6" pocket coil spring in the center which is layered
with 1" of 100% natural Dunlop process latex top and bottom. The latex
is wrapped with cushy organic cotton batting and then inner tufted to prevent
the padding from shifting. The outer cover is a tightly woven organic cotton
Anton Cramer fabric in a herringbone pattern which is smooth to the touch and
extremely durable. It has a firm supportive feel with a feathery surface reminiscent
of lemon meringue pie.
The Awareness
The mattress to die for – in fact you'll wish you could take it with
you when you go. Its components blend so well together that it transcends the
sum of its parts. When goes on the conveyor belt on its way to be bagged and
boxed the other mattresses cringe and avert their gaze as its sublime presence
rolls on toward its destiny in your home. It consists of three 3" layers
of 100% natural latex. The bottom layer is extra firm Dunlop process latex
laminated to medium Dunlop process latex. The top layer is your choice of firmness
in 100% natural Talalay process latex. It has a zipper cover that enables it
to be adjusted for firmness as the years go by.
The Awareness is actually a
sleep system rather than just a mattress. For example, if you choose the soft
Awareness and sometime in the future you decide that you would prefer a firmer
feel you can unzip the cover, take out your soft top layer and flip over the
bottom two layers bringing your extra firm layer to the middle of the mattress.
Put back your soft top layer and zip it up. You now have increased your overall
firmness. Not only that, you have two more options. You could put your soft
layer on the bottom and bring your medium layer to the top or bring your extra
firm layer to the top. Therefore you have four distinct firmness options in
just one mattress. Perhaps you will never do this, but isn't it reassuring
to know that you can if you want to?
